Able N Co, also known as “ABLE,” is a proudly 100% black, youth, and female-owned consultancy specializing in town planning, environmental management, project management, and research services. Founded by Ms. Tulisa Able Ndlebe in 2021, ABLE emerged from a vision to address developmental challenges in South Africa by promoting spatial justice and sustainable development.

As a SACPLAN registered Professional Planner and an Environmentalist, Ms. Ndlebe is dedicated to advancing inclusive and sustainable development, particularly in rural and township economies, drawing inspiration from her roots in a rural community. Her commitment to enhancing the lives of those in marginalized areas is central to ABLE’s mission.
ABLE operates as a multidisciplinary place-making consultancy and collaborates with various experienced professionals, to provide hands-on solutions and required proficient skills to take your project forward for an impactful, pragmatic, purposeful, sustainable and generational outcome.

With locations in Queenstown, Pietermaritzburg and Port Elizabeth, ABLE is committed to serving communities throughout South Africa, with aspirations for international expansion. Recognized as one of the Top 30 Women in Development Planning by SACPLAN in 2022, Ms. Ndlebe leads ABLE with a vision for a development legacy rooted in innovation, sustainability, inclusion and compliance, ensuring a transformative approach to urban, rural and environmental planning.

We are committed to making environmental and development planning accessible to everyone, emphasizing education in previously marginalized communities through our plow-back initiatives and interactive public participation processes.
